ISERP Audiovisual (AV) Services
ISERP Audio-Visual (AV) Services provides equipment and technical assistance to ISERP faculty fellows and program affiliates in presenting media for conferences and workshops at Columbia University. ISERP’s sound equipment includes a speaker and four wired microphones (or three wired microphones and a wireless microphone) ideal for panel conversations with mid-size audiences (50 to 125 people).
Other technical services available are video and audio playback, editing and recording; overhead projecting; and technical support for staging events in large conference rooms without audiovisual equipment. ISERP faculty fellows and affiliates who need audio-visual services should submit the form below to the Public Affairs office a minimum of one week in advance of their event or lecture. Please note our equipment is limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. One-month notice is highly recommended. The cost of these services is to recoup equipment cost and compensate staff.
ISERP AV Support is limited to Columbia University buildings at the Morningside Campus and is not available during winter intersession, spring break and university holidays. During the weekend, if audio setup/breakdown or video capture is required, you will be charged a full days fee + a service fee of $30/day.
Note, ISERP Conference Rooms (Room 801 and Room 270B) come equipped with projector and screens.
COST OF AV SERVICE
ISERP offers its AV services to all ISERP-affiliated programs, workshops, conferences and PIs. The costs listed below simply help ISERP recoup equipment cost and compensate staff. ISERP does not accept cash or check as payment — cost of service will be withdrawn from Columbia University accounts only. You will be invoiced before your scheduled event.
For ISERP-funded workshops and conferences, the cost of these services can be withdrawn directly from your account. Renters of equipment are required to sign a waiver agreeing to cover all equipment repair/replacement costs and must leave a form of ID with ISERP staff for the duration of the rental.
