ISERP Workshops and Seminars provide an intellectual environment conducive to cross-disciplinary alliances. Workshops host guest speakers from across the globe and members of the Columbia and greater New York community. At the end of each academic year ISERP solicits proposals for new workshops.

ISERP Supports Conferences that that are collaborative and interdisciplinary. The conferences focus on a single substantive or methodological topic or problem, on an event or policy, or on a set of intellectually-related issues. In July of each year ISERP solicits proposals for conference funding.
