ISERP seeks to support publications that disseminate pioneering social science research by integrating knowledge and methods across the social sciences. The ISERP Working Paper Series

The ISERP Working Paper Series enables researchers to share their results prior to publication. The series includes theoretical and empirical research papers as well as research-based policy papers.The series first ran from 2001-2008 and resumed in June 2011.

The ISERP Research Briefs Series

The ISERP Research Briefs series delivers findings from recently published articles/books by ISERP Program Affiliates.

The Columbia Economics Review (2011-Present)

ISERP provides administrative and financial support to the Columbia Economics Review (CER). The Review aims to promote discourse and research at the intersection of economics, business, politics, and society by publishing a rigorous selection of student essays, opinions, and research papers.

The Journal of Politics & Society (2011-Present)

ISERP provides financial support to the Journal of Politics & Society,  the premier undergraduate academic publication in the social sciences. Founded in 1989, JPS is published twice a year by the Columbia University based Helvidius Group and is available for purchase across the United States at Barnes & Noble and other booksellers.

ISERP-Commissioned Books

During Summer 2011, two books based on research commissioned by ISERP were published: After the Fall: New Yorkers Remember September 2001 and the Years that Followed (The New Press, 2011) and After Tobacco: What Would Happen if Americans Stopped Smoking? (Columbia University Press, 2011). After Tobacco was made possible through generous support from Legacy. During the past decade, ISERP facutly fellows have published hundreds of books based on their research.
