Need to brush up on that exotic, new methodology, but don’t know where to begin? Learn from the scholars who are pushing the envelope. ISERP's short courses cover a variety of topics on the design, practice, and technique of social science research, from simple strategies for funding your project and getting published to ground-breaking statistical and mathematical modeling. These courses are designed for faculty and graduate students, alike.

ISERP's short courses are sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholars program, and the course offerings vary from semester to semester. The courses are non-credit, have a limited enrollment, and are open only to faculty, students, and scholars in the Columbia community.
