The Institute for Religion, Culture, and Public Life seeks proposals from Columbia University faculty for Joint Projects that aim to understand the role of religion and secularism, both historically and in the contemporary world. International Dissertation Research Fellowship

The Mellon International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF) offers nine to twelve months of support to graduate students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences who are enrolled in PhD programs in the United States and conducting dissertation research on non-US topics.

DeKarman fellowships

DeKarman fellowships are open to students in any discipline, including international students, who are currently enrolled in a university or college located within the United States. Only candidates for the PhD who will defend their dissertation in or about June 2018 and undergraduates entering their senior year (will receive bachelors degree in or about June 2018) are eligible for consideration for a 2017-2018 fellowship.

Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

Each Fellowship supports up to one to two years of graduate study in any field and in any advanced degree-granting program in the United States. Each award is for up to $25,000 in stipend support (not to exceed $40,000), as well as 50 percent of required tuition and fees, up to $20,000 per year, for one to two years.

Aseees Dissertation Research Grant
