Education Research Grants Program

Through this program, the Institute seeks to improve the quality of education for all students - prekindergarten through postsecondary and adult education - by advancing the understanding of and practices for teaching, learning, and organizing education systems. By identifying what works, what doesn't, and why, the goal of this research grant program is to improve educational outcomes for all students, particularly those at risk of failure.

Access Group/AIR Research and Dissertation Fellows Program

With support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) has operated a grant program that supports research on a wide range of issues of critical importance to U.S. higher education. NSF and NCES support grants aimed at increasing the number of researchers using national datasets and demonstrating the contribution that these datasets make to the national base of knowledge on higher education policy, theory, and practice.
