Research
Marissa King is a post-doctoral research scholar at the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy. Currently, her work focuses on the role of diagnosis, diffusion, and substitution in the autism epidemic. Her previous work examined the intersection of social movements and organizational behavior through the lens of early social movements. She received her BA from Reed College and her PhD from Columbia University. Her research appears in journals such as American Sociological Review and Administrative Science Quarterly.
