ISERP offers two conference rooms for the benefit of our centers and programs, workshops and seminars, and occasionally outside events. Event coordinators are welcome to use our online form to schedule the rooms on a one-time or repeating basis. Priority is given to ISERP events.

When making reservations, designate the start and end time of the event, but also indicate how much time you will need prior to the begin of your event for the set-up of refreshments and/or audio/visual equipment. Our conference rooms are in high demand, so please be considerate of groups meeting before and after yours.

Guidelines for Conference Rooms 801 and 270B IAB

Keys for the conference rooms are available in Room 820 of ISERP's main offices during business hours—weekdays from 9am to 5pm—and must be returned promptly once the room has been unlocked. For reservations outside of ISERP’s business hours, coordinators are responsible for picking up the key before the offices close for evening or early morning events.

Because it is accessible only via ISERP’s open plan research suite, non-ISERP events are not permitted in Conference Room 270B outside of business hours.

Once the event is over, coordinators must properly dispose of all trash and food items before leaving. Also, please turn off the lights and see that the door has shut and locked behind you.

Equipment

Coordinators who have requested the use of an overhead projector, LCD projector, laptop, or VHS/VCR should come to Room 820 during business hours for access to this equipment. Please read all instructions carefully, handle the equipment with care, and return everything in its proper condition. In Conference Room 270B, coordinators must turn off and cap the projector after use.

The VCR and DVD enabled laptop work in tandem with the LCD projector. Broadband access to the Internet is available from both conference rooms.

If you require any additional equipment, you will need to make separate arrangements with Columbia's Audio Visual Services.
