ISERP Computing
Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP) Computing maintains a collection of approximately 200 laptop and desktop computers, approximately 225 end-users, as well as an UNIX server which serves as both a file server as well as an Active Directory for user maintenance. ISERP Computing is administrated by Michael Higgins, ISERP Computing Systems Coordinator. The primary focus of ISERP Computing is to provide network and desktop computing support for our affiliates, as well as advice on hardware and software purchases. ISERP Computing also ensures that the UNIX server is able to manage datasets and perform complex mathematical and statistical computations on behalf of our centers, fellows, and affiliates.
