Overview

The seminar aims to encourage interdisciplinary discussions on ethnic identity and ethnic politics. In particular the seminar seeks to integrate the study of ethnic identity in the developing world with the study of ethnicity and race in advanced industrial countries.  The seminar provides a forum in which graduate students can learn about the ethnic politics and meet researchers doing innovative work in the field.
