CALL FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE RESEARCH

Call for Proposals in Criminal Justice Research

Open to Faculty and Postdoctoral Research Fellows in the Social Sciences

The Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy is pleased to issue its newest call for funding
made possible by former Dean of Social Sciences Dr. Fredrick Harris. The goal of the new call is to
support cross-disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary workshops, speaker series, or conferences that center
on criminal justice research. The initiative is open to faculty and postdocs appointed within one of the six
social science departments in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University and SIPA.
Proposals will be evaluated on their intellectual merit and coherence and their judicious use of funding.

Below, you will find two separate calls: one for workshops, and another for conferences. For both, the deadline is April 26, 2023, and the start date is July 1, 2023.
