ISERP Summer Job Opportunity - Office Assistant

The Institute for Social and Economic Research Policy (ISERP) is now hiring for the summer! Undergrad and Grad students are welcome to apply.

Job Description:

The Office Assistant will assist with general administrative duties for the summer of 2023, from June 1st to August 31. This position is fully on-site and requires 20-35 hours/week of commitment. The hourly rate is $22. ASAP start date is preferred. 

Responsibilities:

The Office Assistant will assist with day-to-day operations of the Institute,  providing front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate personnel,  pickup and distribution mail/packages, and conducting daily walk-throughs of ISERP space. Submitting catering orders and preparing for events. Maintaining department databases. Distributing financial reports, creating grant files, and preparing backup documentation for financial transactions with the Financial Office’s instructions. Submitting service requests to Facilities for repairs. 

Qualifications:

Proactive, positive, detailed-oriented, and quick learner, creative thinker, and problem solver. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Pro, and Google Calendar and Docs preferred. InDesign or Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred, but not required.
