National Juvenile Justice Data Analysis Program

With this solicitation, NIJ, in collaboration with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), seeks proposals for funding to support and enhance the National Juvenile Justice Data Analysis Program (NJJDAP). The NJJDAP produces vital statistical information to the field regarding juvenile risk behaviors, juvenile victimization, juvenile offending, and the juvenile justice system’s response to law-violating behavior.

Emerging Technology Research Grant

CUIT invites researchers to submit proposals for experimentation and innovative use of emerging technologies in their research. These technologies include (but are not limited to) 3D printing/scanning, AR/VR, AI, Machine learning, and drones. Submissions can be made on a rolling basis and five proposals will be funded each fiscal year, for the sum not exceeding $20,000.

The Early Career Faculty Innovator Program provides funding for faculty in the social, policy, and behavioral sciences to co-develop interdisciplinary and actionable research projects in partnership with scientists and engineers at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado.

In honor of Jim Danky’s long service to print culture scholarship, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Center for the History of Print and Digital Culture, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Historical Society, is offering two short-term research fellowship awards for 2022-2023. The Danky Fellowships provide $1000 per individual for expenses while conducting research using the collections of the Wisconsin Historical Society.

This NOSI promotes multidisciplinary research to clarify sex and gender differences in the risk, development, progression, diagnosis, and clinical presentation of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Alzheimer's disease-related dementias (ADRD). Studies that examine sex and gender differences in outcomes (e.g., clinical, functional, well-being) among people living with AD/ADRD as well as AD/ADRD caregiving-related outcomes are also relevant.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Behavioral and Social Science Priority Areas in Dementia Care Partner/Caregiver Research

This Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) highlights priority areas of dementia care partner/caregiver research other than intervention development. Alzheimer’s disease directly affects more than 6 million Americans, most of them age 65 and older. The number of persons living with AD/ADRD is expected to increase significantly, given projected growth in the aging population, unless this disease can be effectively treated or prevented.
