The goal of this funding opportunity announcement is to support research that will further elucidate the pathways involved in the relationship between education and health outcomes and in doing so to carefully identify the specific aspects and qualities of education that are responsible for this relationship and what the mediating factors are that affect the nature of the causal relationship.

The Center for Ethics & Education Research Grants

The Center will make awards of up to $40,000 for research projects in philosophy as it relates to educational policy and practice. Applicants are encouraged to understand educational policy and practice in broad terms, including issues that directly relate to K-12 schools and higher education institutions, but also concerning policies that influence children’s growth and development in the family and other institutions.

Education Research Grants Program

Through this program, the Institute seeks to improve the quality of education for all students - prekindergarten through postsecondary and adult education - by advancing the understanding of and practices for teaching, learning, and organizing education systems. By identifying what works, what doesn't, and why, the goal of this research grant program is to improve educational outcomes for all students, particularly those at risk of failure.
