Global Ideas for U.S. Solutions

Throughout its history, the United States has learned from great ideas from abroad, from bagels to democracy. Why not do the same for health? In that spirit, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is looking globally for ideas to help us build a Culture of Health in the United States, where everyone has the opportunity to live healthier lives, no matter who they are, where they live, or how much money they make.

New Connections: Increasing Diversity of RWJF Programming

New Connections: Increasing Diversity of RWJF Programming is celebrating its 10th year of supporting research grants and career development opportunities for a network of more than 830 researchers from diverse, underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. The program aims to expand the diversity of perspectives that inform RWJF programming and introduce new researchers to the Foundation to help address research and evaluation needs. New Connections is a career development program for early career researchers.

Culture of Health Leaders Program

The Culture of Health Leaders program provides cross-sector leadership development based on evidence, informed by experience, and grounded in principles of equity and social justice. These principles inform all aspects of the program design, tools, recruitment, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination—and more importantly, they guide how the program will be in relationship with participants.

National Institute for Health Care Management Research Grants

NIHCM Foundation supports innovative investigator-initiated research with high potential to inform improvements to the U.S. health care system.
