Alliance Call for Joint Projects

The Alliance Call for Joint Projects are intended to support transatlantic projects of the highest quality, both in scientific research and collaborative teaching efforts, between faculty members of all disciplines within the Alliance network. The Alliance Call for Joint Projects aim to promote new efforts in joint research proposal development, pilot research, collaborative teaching endeavors, and other activities in order to create new transatlantic collaborative initiatives.

Rockefeller Brothers Grants

The Fund awards grants in democratic practice, peacebuilding, and sustainable development, as well as projects focused on southern China and the western Balkans.

Research Grants

The foundation supports research on postsecondary education, veterans issues, US foreign policy, grand strategy, health care, and technology.

Religion in International Affairs

Supports projects in many fields to encourage discussion of religion in the public sphere.

National Security and Human Rights Campaign

Through this opportunity, the Open Society Foundation provides funding for research in national security policies related to human rights, civil liberties, discrimination, and counterterrorism.

Horowitz Foundation Grant Program

The grant program is meant to support scholars from the social sciences in the early stages of their career through small grants, promote projects which have social policy application, and encourage research that addresses contemporary issues within the social sciences.
