New Investigator/Early Career Program in the Social and Behavioral Sciences

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking applications for applied research under a new program that supports new investigators early in academic careers to conduct studies that inform public safety, crime control and prevention, and/or the fair and impartial administration of criminal justice in the United States.

National Security and Human Rights Campaign

Through this opportunity, the Open Society Foundation provides funding for research in national security policies related to human rights, civil liberties, discrimination, and counterterrorism.

Law and Science

The Law & Science Program considers proposals that address social scientific studies of law and law-like systems of rules, as well as studies of how science and technology are applied in legal contexts. The Program is inherently interdisciplinary and multi-methodological.

Law and Science Dissertation Grant

The Law and Science Dissertation Grant (LSDG) program provides financial support for graduate students in diverse law-and-science disciplines to conduct their doctoral dissertation research. The program is funded by an award from the Law & Science program at the National Science Foundation (SBE #2016661) to Arizona State University (ASU).
