Giovanna Invernizzi is a PhD candidate focusing on formal theory and comparative politics. Her research uses game theory to study the internal organization of political parties. With incentivized experiments, she studies how information affects voters’ behavior. She holds an M.Sc. and a B.A. in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, Milan. Giovanna has been coordinating the Political Economy Seminar at Columbia since 2016.
