Senior Staff Associate

As Senior Staff Associate with the Justice Lab, Kendra conducts research and policy analysis related to solitary confinement, jail population reduction, and community corrections. Kendra manages the Pennsylvania Solitary Study (PASS) and the National Solitary Confinement Database (NSCD), both collaborations between Dr. Bruce Western (Columbia) and Dr. Jessica Simes (Boston University). Kendra also assists Vincent Schiraldi in efforts to reduce the number of people detained on Rikers Island, and in analyzing the size, scope, and unequal distribution of community corrections supervision in jurisdictions across the United States.
