Jori Korpershoek
Biography
Jori Korpershoek is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP). He holds a PhD in economics and works on econometric methods and applied topics in political economy, including political campaigns, the effects of the media and the different roles of elections. He now works with Professor Andrew Gelman on causal inference using panel data. They focus on incorporating multiple sources of information and insights from (economic) theory in order to improve the stability and generalizability of empirical estimates in the social sciences.
