This is an open-to-the-public workshop on the past, present, and future of Moroccan Studies within the broader context of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Studies. The workshop will bring together leading scholars of Moroccan studies from the United States and around the world. The program will combine academic discussions with film screenings and visits to archives and exhibitions related to the history of Morocco and Moroccan culture.
