Applications Now Open for FY27 ISERP Funding

The Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP) invites you to submit a proposal for FY27 funding, covering the 2026-2027 academic year from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The full CFPs can be found on ISERP’s website through the links below, or in the "Call for Proposals" menu item above. All submissions should be made on ISERP’s website. 

Faculty appointed in one of the six social science departments in A&S or SIPA are eligible to apply:

• Call for Seed Grant Proposals
• Call for Start-Up Center Proposals
• Call for Conference Proposals
• Call for Workshop and Seminar Proposals

In addition to these standard ISERP calls for proposals, we have the following two featured calls. Faculty appointed in one of the six social science departments in A&S or SIPA are eligible to apply:

• Joint Seed Grants with CPRC: Priority on CPRC themes, inequality, & anti-racist projects
• Social Study of Pandemics: Ambitious, feasible, and scalable approaches to the understanding of pandemics. Three-year award period. 

Junior Faculty appointed in one of the six social science departments in A&S or SIPA are eligible to apply:

• Call for ISERP Fellow Applications, Spring 2027 Leave

Graduate students in one of the six social science departments in A&S or SIPA are eligible to apply:

• Call for Graduate Student-Initiated Conference Proposals
